If you add New Desperation Isle to the Picks tab of your profile, we'll give you L$30 as our way of saying "Thank you!" To get your L$30, please do the following:

While standing on New Desperation Isle, go to Edit > Profile and click the Picks tab.
Click New. This should add a new entry to your Picks tab. NOTE: If the New button is grayed out, it means you have too many picks already (the maximum is 10). Select one of your existing picks and click the Delete button.
Click OK.
Send an instant message to ILLANA IRETON and tell her you've added New Desperation Isle to your Picks.
Illana will log on once a day to check people's profiles. She will pay you the L$30 after she checks your profile to confirm we're there.

This offer is only good once per avatar. Remember, you must IM ILLANA IRETON, and she will only pay you once she has a chance to look at your profile.

Subscribe to our in-world Updates Group

If you'd like to be notified about upcoming events and changes on the island, join our special in-world updates group. Unlike regular Second Life groups, this is a simple distribution list that only Wildefire Walcott controls. You don't have to use up any of your 25 group membership slots, and you'll NEVER get spam or annoying group chat. You will only ever get special updates about New Desperation Isle.

How to subscribe:

Teleport to the isle.
At the welcome area, touch the Updates Group kiosk (shown below). You will get a message thanking you for subscribing.

How to unsubscribe:

Teleport to the isle.
At the welcome area, touch the Updates Group kiosk. If you're already in the group, a menu will appear.
Click Unsubscribe.
